Two different numbers when divided by the same divisor left remainders of 11 and 21 respectively. When the numbers' sum was divided by the same divisor, the remainder was 4. What was the divisor?

• When remainders are added, we get 32.
  when 32 is divided by same divisor, we get remainder as 4.
  so divisor can be 28,14,7,4,2 but as earlier we got 21 as remainder, divisor can be more than 21 only.
