that the work may be completed in time, each man now working 9 hours a day?

  4/7 of work is completed means,
  Remaining work =1- 4/7 =3/7
  Remaining period= 46-33 =13 days
  
  work = 4/7 : 3/7
  Days = 13:33 :: 117:x
  hrs/day = 9 : 8
  
  Therefore,
  (4/7)*13*9*x = (3/7)*33*8*117
  x=(3*33*8*117) / (4*13*9)
  x=198 men
  So, additional men to be employed = 198-117 =81

  time taken to finish rest work (3/7) work by working 9hour/day in 13 day = 117*(7/4)*(3/7)*(8/9)*(33/13) person required..... = 198 person

  solution is : ((working men * working hours * working days)/work had done) = remaining working days * working hours * ( working mens + additional mens))/remaining work)
  
  (33 * 8 * 117 )/ (4/7) = (13 * 9 * (117 + X ))/(3/7)

• 117 men complete the work in 46 days worked 8 hours a day.It means they all together worked for 368 hours. In 33 days they all together worked for 264 hours. the remaining 104 hours work should be done in remaining 13 days working 9 hours a day. If 117 workers work for 9 hours all the 13 days 117 hours work is done.But only 104 hours is remained. so, only 104 workers will work for remaining 13 days.
