  x+y=11,
  x+z=17,
  y+z=12,
  on sloving these equations
  x=8,y=3,z=9
  so min 3+3=6
  mAx 9+9=18

• The best way to start these type of question is to first see available options
  and then assuming like maximum wieght is 17 kg so one of the weight should be >8
  then make cases
  9+8=17
  8*2=16
  so to make 12 =9+3
  and so 8+3 =11

  c can take 8+8=16
  d can take 9+8=17
  thus max weight=9
  min weight= 3

  B takes two packet 9+3=12
  C takes two packet 8+8=16

• here 2 cases comes...the minimum is 6(3+3)ie for 3,8,9 kg packs
  maximum is 22(11+11) for 11,6,5 kg packs
  5+6=11
  6+6=12
  11+5=16
  11+6=17
