My flight takes off at 2 AM from a place at 18N 10E and landed 10 Hrs later at a place with coordinates 36N 70W. What is the local time when my plane landed?

• There is difference of 80 degrees between two places. So we can say that there will be 320 mins difference between the local times of two places i.e., 5 hrs. 20 mins. So the answer will be 6:40 AM.

• it is given that flight takes off from a place at 18N 10E and lands at 36N 70E. Forget the north part and focus on the East direction. That makes an angle of 80 degrees(70+10).
  now,
  1 degree is equivalent to 4 minutes
  therefore,
  80 degrees = 320 minutes
  320 min. is equal to 5 hrs 20 min
  now, it takes 10 hrs to complete the journey
  therefore, plane lands at 12 noon according to previous place.
  subtract 5 hrs 20 min from 12 noon
  
  which give 6:40 am .... which is the answer
