  15%of 20=3, 3*85=255
  25% 0f 20=5, 5*90=450
  remaining students= (20-(2+5+3+5))=5

  avg.= 140+400+255+450+475=1720/20 =86

  (x(10*70 + 25*80 + 15*85 + 25* 90 + 25*90)/100)/ x = 86
  Hence the avg is always 86 and does not depend upon the no. of students.

• correct answer is 80
  suppose total student in a class is 100
  so 10 percent of 100=10
  so toatal marks =10*70=700
  now 25 percent of 90=22.5
  total=22.5*80=1800
  calculate this way and take the avg u got the answer
