Find the range of real values of x not satisfying even one of the inequalities 6x - 8 > 40 and 9x - 19 > 80"

Option
a) x greater than 8
b) x lesser than or equal to 8
c) x lesser to 8
d) x greater than or equal to 8

• 6x – 8 > 40 => 6x >48 => x > 8 ...(1)
  And 9x – 19 > 80 = > 9x >99 => x >11 ...(2)
  For both the inequalities to hold true, x should be greater than 11, and for values of x greater than 8, at least the first inequality (1) will be satisfied.
  For x not to satisfy both the inequalities, it has to be equal to or lesser than 8.
  Therefore, our answer is x lesser than or equal to 8
