5 times the sum of three consecutive integers is 150, what are the integers?
Read Solution (Total 2)
-
- Let the three consecutive integers be x,(x+1)and(x+2).
5 times their sum is 150
5(x+x+1+x+2)=150
5(3x+3)=150
15(x+1)= 150
x+1=10
x=9
therefore the three integers are x,(x+1)and (x+2)=9, 10 and 11.

- ket the integers be-(x-1),x,(x+1)
5(x-1+x+x+1)=150
5*3*x=150
x=10,
x-1=9,
x+1=11
