• According to the question,
  A's 1 day work = 1/24.
  B's 1 day work = 1/9.
  C's 1 day work= 1/12.
  
  (B+C)'s 1 day work = 1/9 + 1/12 = 21/108 = 7/36.
  (B+C)'s 3 day work = (7/36) x 3 = 7/12.
  Remained work = 1- 7/12 = 5/12.
  
  Since, A do 1/24th of the work in 1 day.
  then, he will do 5/12th part of work in 24 * (5 / 12) = 10 days.
