ratio of fall in the prices of share A to B = 25/40 = 5/8

Suppose initial price of each share of A and B is Rs 100.
New price of A is Rs x and that of B is y, then
x= 75 and y = 60
% Fall in price of A = 25
% Fall in price of A = 40
ratio of % Fall in price of A to fall in price of B = 25/40 = 5/8
