20 liters of juice contains 18 liter water and 2 liter tomato pure.

now let x liters of tomato pure be produced ,then

x- 20x/100 = 2

80x/100=2

x= 2*100/80 =2.5

ANS : c) 2.5
20 lit juice contain 20*10/100 =2 lit tomato pulp.
now tomato pure has 80% of tomato pulp..
so by using 2 lit pure pulp we can produce
2/80% =2*100/80 = 2.5 liters..

1 liter of tomato pure = (800ml of tomato + 200ml of water)
so 1 liter leads to 800ml tomato,
how many liters leads to have 2000ml of tomato...????

so ans is (2000*1)/800

ans is 2.5

tomato pure-20% water, 80% tomato
tomato juice-90% water, 10% tomato
water in 20 lit of tomato juice-90% of 20=18 lit
so,tomato=2 lit
80 lit of tomato used to obtain 100 lit of tomato pure
1 lit of tomato used to ....... 100/80 lit.....
2 lit ......................... 100/80*2=2.5 lit

let x be the total amount of tomato pure to be produced...then x- 20x/100(water in tomato pure) = 2(pure pulp).
thus...solving...x=2.5 ltr

20 liters of tomato juice contains 18 liters of water+2 liters of tomato juice

but for a tomato puree it must contain only 20% water so
90%---------------18liters
20%--------------(20*18)/90=4liters
so overall 4liters+2liters=6liters

Suppose in 1 Liter tomato juice 0.10 L tomato + .90 L water.
after boiling only 0.20 L water remains. It means 0.03 L pure juice
remains out of 1.00 Liter tomato juice. So, in 20 Liters tomato juice

pure juice = 20 * 0.03
6.00 Liters.

20l juice=>18l water + 2 lit pure
since-80l pure=>20l water
=>1lit pure=.5 liter water
=>total pure=2+.2=2.5l

20 litres juice contain 10% Tomato, i.e.
20L juice=(20*10)/100 = 2L Tomato
Tomato puree contains 80% of water and 20% tomato.
This 80% tomato = 2L (which is contained by 100 puree)
So, Now this 2 L Consist 80% in puree
Thus, total puree will be,
2/.8 = 2.5L.

2 liter is the pure tomato juice but for tomatoo puree it must contain 20% of water so 20% of 2 is 0.4 liters so the answer would be 2.4 liters....

tamato juice = 20 ltr = (2ltr tamato + 18ltr water) as it contain 90% water
by boiling content of tamato will remain same
tamato puree = (2ltr tamato + Xltr water)
2+ X is 100 % out which X is 20%
so 2 is 80%
and 100% will be 2.5ltr
ans 2.5ltr
