suppose 99 toffees are bought in 2 lots for Rs 90+ 110 = Rs 200.
Total 2*99= 198 toffees are sold for Rs 198, then
loss = Rs 2

% loss = 100*2/200 = 1%

Explanation:
Suppose 99 toffees of each type are purchased i.e total number toffees will be 198.
Cost of 99 toffees bought at the rate of 11 for Rs 10 = 10*99/11 = Rs. 90
Cost of 99 toffees bought at the rate of 9 for Rs 10 = 10*99/9 = Rs. 110
So total 198 toffees are bought for 99+110= Rs. 200
Selling price of 198 toffees sold at one rupee per toffee = Rs.198
Thus there is loss of Rs. 2
Loss % = (2/200) * 100 = 1 %

Cp of 198 toffees for 200Rs.
Sp of 198 toffees is 198rs.
Loss - 2rs
loss % is 2/200 * 100 = 1% Loss
