subratverma is correct... 8 pieces we can make...for the better understanding compare with a cube if u want...

since cake is a 3D object, it will have length,breadth, height...
first cut across length now we will get2 pieces
then cut across breadth we will get 4 parts in total now...
now cut across height, finally we will get 8 parts...

8 pieces...
divide cake into two equel halves...in first cut..=2
again put one over another and make second cut..=4
and again put two pieces of cake over rest two pieces gives us total 8 pieces...:):)

It depends on the type of cake........
If the cake is unsymmetrical it is not possible..........

6 pieces.first cut the cake into two pieces. then at 60 degree to previous cut, cut in same manner. and again @ 60 to this, cut again. 6 pieces. yummy. easy:)

If solwing in 3D manner then 8 is correct ans
if solwing in 2d then also 7 pieses psbl

First cut - 2 pieses
Second Cut - it must cut first cut - 4 pieses
Third Cut - it must cut first as well as Second cut - 7 pieses
Thus 7 is correct ans

6 pieces.......cut two in same direction and one at 90 degreee to previous

first cut the cake into two equal half parts
now we have 2 half parts
now cut the 1st half into two pieces
and now cut the 2nd half into two pieces
total 6 maximum pieces can be there(identical)(ans)
