1 to 9=9 no.s 1 digit each no.
9 to 99=90no.s 2 digit each,total digit=90*2=180 terms
99 to 999=900 no.s 3 digit each,total digit=900*3=2700
999 to 9999=9000 no.s 4 digit each,total digit=9000*4=36,000
now till 999,we have=9+180+2700=2889 digits
till 9999 we hv=2889+36000=38889 digits
56743-38889=17854
after 9999 each no. has 5 digit
so 17584/5=3570 with remainder 4.
3570th no after 9999 =9999+3570=13569
next term=13570...4th digit=7 ..so ans=7

Yea!! There is a short cut trick to solve this kind of questions. We need to consider the digital sum of the term. and that is the answer. digital sum of 56743=5+6+7+4+3=25=2+5=7. So, ans is 7. Simple right.!

untill 9999 we have=2889+36000=38889 digits
56743-38889=17854
after 9999 each number have 5 digit
so 17584/5=3570 with remainder 4.
3570th no after 9999 =9999+3570=13569
next term=13570 ans=7
