Remember when three dices are rolled or a die is rolled three times,number of ways of getting sum 'n' is
=(n-1)C2,n=3 to 8
=25 when n=9,12
=27 when n=10,11
=(20-n)C2 when n=13 to 18,
Hence the answer for n=10 is 27/(6*6*6)=1/8

total pairs =216
condition pairs=27
so now 27/216=1/8 will be definitely answer

Always remember when 3 dice are rolled the number of ways of getting n ( where n is the sum of faces on dice)
= (n−1)C2 where n = 3 to 8
= 25 where n = 9, 12
= 27 where n = 10, 11
= (20−n)C2 where n = 13 to 18,
Hence answer is (27/216)=1/8

case for getting 10 are (6,3,1) we arrange this case in 6 ways similarly
, (6,2,2) in 3 ways
(5,4,3) in 6 ways
(5,4,1) in 6 ways
(4,4,2) in 3 ways
(3,3,4) in 3 ways
so total no of ways for getting 10 is 27;
required probability(10)=27/216;
