Each time, probability of getting odd or even number is same , i.e. 1/2.

Then possible combination of three throws are
OOO
OOE
OEO
OEE
EOO
EOE
EEO
EEE

out of these 8 possible outcomes, only three (3) are desirable ..OEE,EOE,EEO

so probability of getting exactly one odd number = 3/8

Actually 3rd option is 1/8

The answer is 3/8 ,I know and can prove .But just wanted to know other view before I reveal,how?

1/2.die is rolled 3 times means 3*6=18 is the denominator.number of odd numbers in the die=3.so,there are 3*3 chances of obtaining the odd number.hence the answer is 1/2

now 3c1*3/6*3/6*3/6=3/8
