@Ratna:: let distence x
for tom time= x/(49*10)
for jerry time=x/(50*9)
for snoopy time =x/(8*51)
clearly snoop tim is less than among of them
so snppy will win

let the distance be X
Total steps taken by tom = 49
total steps taken by jerry =50
total steps taken by snoopy = 51
Now let's assume to cover 10 steps tom takes 10 seconds.
to cover 9 steps jerry takes 10 seconds.
to cover 8 steps snoopy takes 10 seconds.
Time taken by tom to cover 49 steps = (49/10)*(10) = 49 seconds
Time taken by jerry to cover 50 steps = (50/9)*(10) = 55.55 seconds
Time taken by snoopy to cover 51 steps = (51/8)*(10) = 63.75 seconds
So clearly Tom is the winner.
