distance travelled by A till 12.00 noon is d=s*t
d=20*2//(12.00-10.00)
d=40km
ie distance between xand y is 40
so time taken by B to travel this 40 km is
t=d/s;t=40/40;t=1
so B travelled xy in one hour(till 11.00) and in rest one hour (ie till 12),the distance travelled is d=s*t; d=40*1; d=40
so the distance between A and B is 40km

Distnace between House and T junction = 20 x 2 = 40.
ie., B reached T at 11 am.
B continued to right after 11 am and travelled upto 2. So distance covered by him = 3 x 40 = 120
A reached T at 12 noon and travelled upto 2 So distanced travelled by him = 2 x 20 = 40
So total distance between them = 120 + 40 = 160 km
