the answer will be Wednesday.
it is given 302th day of first year is saturday.
365-302=63.
thus on last day of the 1st year the day will be saturday only.thus 1st year has 6 odd days
now 2nd year has 1 odd day
3rd year has 1 odd day.
4th year has 2 odd days as it is leap year
now 5th year's only 15 days have to be taken.
thus total odd days = 15+2+1+1+6
=25 which has three odd days. thus 3 odd days means wednesday
for such type of questions do the chapter CALENDER from RS Agarwal

WEDNESDAY IS D ANSWER

302TH YR HAS 1 ODD DAY
SO 1ST DAY IS FRIDAY
SO 1ST DAY OF FIFTH YR HAS 4 ODD DAYS
+ 15 DAYS HAS 14 ODD DAYS
SO IN ALL 14 + 4 = 18 ODD DAYS = 4 ODD DAYS
THEREFORE WEDNESDAY

actually we have any year which comes after repeats fr ever 6 years soo
5+6=11
5+6(2)=17
.
.
same we get 5+6(50)=305 th year has exatcly same calender as 5th year
now 302th year 1st day = saturday
303=sunday
304=monday
305=wednesday(since 304 is leap year)
so 15th day of 305th year falls on wednesday so as in 5th year also wednesday only..

if 15th day is 15 january then ans will be friday,but if it is 15th day of the month oct then it will be saturday.coz 302 day will be 29oct

302 th ist day saturday means it is repeated after 28 years 28x11 308
308-302= 6
Therefore 1st day of 6th year is saturday
Hence ist day of 5th year is Friday
1+2 weeks = 1+14 = 15
Therefore 15th day of 5th years is SATURDAY

Sorry I am correcting yesterday at the time of typing power was failur.
302 th ist day saturday means it is repeated after 28 years 28x11 308
308-302= 6
Therefore 1st day of 6th year is saturday
Hence ist day of 5th year is Friday
1+2 weeks = 1+14 = 15
Therefore 15th day of 5th years is Friday

the answer is sunday...
the solution is this ....
302/7=43/7odd days=6odd days
according to convention 6 is saturaday...

now,
we need to find 15th day..
means 15/7=2 ,in 5 year...1 odd day for 1 year,1 odd day for 2nd year,1 odd day for 3rd year,2 odd day for 1 leap year....so 1+1+1+2=5
and for 15 day its 2 odd day...so 5+2=7/7=0
n 0 means sunday

It is sunday....if we take 300 days of 1st year fr better calculation thn 300 days is thursday ...aftr 7 days it will repeat thursday then 4*365+15+65+1(for there will be a leap year in 4 years)=1521
1521/7=2 remainder so the day is sunday

15th day of first year is sunday..
in 5years one year will be leap year so 2 odd days for one year and remaining years odd day is one day so
15th day of 5th year = sun+2+1+1+1=friday
ans is friday.

To find 15 th day of 5 th year, we have to know the number of odd days
between 302 th day of 1st year and 15 th day of 5 th year.
302 th day of 1st year is Saturday.
In 5 consecutive years, a leap year occurs only once.
The number of remaining days in 1st year is 365 - 302 =63
In 63days, the number of odd days -> 0
2nd year is an ordinary year => 1 odd day
3rd year is an ordinary year => 1 odd day
4th year is a leap year => 2 odd days
In 15 days of 5 th year, there is 1 odd day
So total number of odd days = 0 + 1 + 1 + 2 +1 = 5 odd days
The answer is Saturday + 5 =Thursday
