if c takes 5 days to do work then
b will take 4 and a will take 3 as given in the question
now =if they work together then they will work in one day is (1/3+1/4+1/5)
now to complete that work they take x days then x(1/3+1/4+1/5)=1
now x=60/47
now in 60/47 days work done by B is 60/(47*4) = 15/47
now 15/47 th of profit 40000 is 12765

let c takes x days
then B takes 4/5*x days,
then A takes 3/4*4/58x days
ratio of days for A ,B ,C is 3/5:4/5:1
therefor, ratio of work= 5/3:5/4:1
and B's share is (5/4)/(5/3+5/4+1)
=12765

let c=x then b=4x/5 and a=3x/5
their ratio will be 12:15:20
b's share=15/47*40000=12765
i.e answer is c

A:B=3:4 and B:C=4:5
A:B:C=3:4:5
so B=4/12*40000=12765 approx

Let C takes 20 days to complete the work.
B TAKES 20*4/5=16 DAYS
A takes 16*3/4=12 days.
Let total work=LCM(20,16,12)=240
A's work=240/12=20 unit/days
B's work=240/16=15 unit/day
C's work=240/20=12 unit/day
so,
A:B:C=20:15:12
So,B will get
=(12/47)*40000=12765(Ans c)
