sol; there are total 720 boxes
(A+B) will paint in one day=720/24=30 boxes
(B+C) will paint in one day=720/16=45 boxes
(C+A) will paint in one day=720/20=36 boxes
now 2(A+B+C) will paint in one day=(30+45+36) boxes
so (A+B+C) will paint box in one day=111/2 boxes
now A will paint in one day=(111/2)-45=21/2 boxes
A will paint in 4 days=(21/2)*4=42 boxes
B will paint in one day=(111/2)-36=39/2 boxes
so B will paint in 8 days=(39/2)*8=156 boxes
C will paint in one day=(111/2)-30 =51/2 boxes
so C will paint in 8 days=(51/2)*8=204
so the total boxes will be painted=42+156+204=402 boxes
ans. is 402 boxes

b&c cn complte work in 16 days together. together in 8 days they cn complete half of the work. .it means they can paint 360 boxes in 8 days working togethr.
now how much a does in 4 days cn be calculated using ol the three equation drwan by the given statements. .
so in 4 day a alone can paint 42 boxes.
total 42+360= 402

to solve this..
a=10.5
b=19.5
c=25.5
then a=10.5*4=42
b=19.5*8=156
& c=25.5*8=204
then..total boxes will be painted...
42+156+204=402 is the answer...
