A clock showed 5 min past 3'0 clock on Sunday evening when the correct time was 3'0 clock it looses uniformly and was observed to be 10 min slow on the subsequent Tuesday at 9pm .

In 54 hrs , it lost 15 mins.

so 5 mins are lost in 5*54/15 = 18 hrs

so watch showed correct time at 1500+1800-2400= 0900 hrs on Monday i.e 9AM Monday

@ jeevan U are correct.
the clock looses 15 mins in 54 hours as on sunday 3pm it was 5mins fast and on tuesday 10 min slow. so total 15mins degradation was recorded. now the clock will show correct time when it has lost the 5min that it was in gain on sunday. and jeevanz solution explains the rest

ans=monday 6pm
54hours divided by 2= 27
so add 27 hours

sunday 3pm to tuesday 9pm =66 hrs
every tuesday time it makes 15 min delay (4*12=48)
so it takes 48 no of times to correct the clock
48*66=3168
