If it is 12*25=333
then base is 7.
9*19 =171 which is 333 in base 7.

b has to be 6 or greater than 6.
But in no case
12*15=333 is satisfied.

so given data is wrong.

the ques is wrong ..it should be 12*25=333....then the solution would have been b=7...because...25*12=300 when base is 10...and here it is 333..so definitely b should be less than 10...keep on checking for b=9,8,7...finally at b=7 u will get, (2*7^0+1*7^1)*(5*7^0+1*7^1)=333

12*25=333
(b+2)(2b+5)=3b^2+3b+3
b^2-6b-7=0
(b+1)(b-7)=0
b!=-1
therefore b=7
