ans is 14.jason have 14 and glenn has 10.
let jason has x and glenn has y.
according to first condition..
y-2=x+2
y-x=4.....(1)
second condition .
2(x-2)=y+2......(2)
solve 1st and second we will get x=10 and y=14

no of balls with:
glenn=x
jason=y
so,
x+2=y....(1)
y+2=2(x-2).....(2)
solving 1&2
x+2=2(x-2)
x+2=2x-4
x=8
y=10

Only answer possible is jason- 6 balls, G- 4 balls.
Only this satisfies the facts mentioned in question.
J-2 =G & J+2 =2G.
All the answers found by others above do not satisfy these conditions

let glenn hv x balls and jason hv y balls..
y=x+2
y+2=2x
then we will find x=2 and y=4..ans is 4..

let initially g=x+2, j=x-2...this will satisfy that if jason would give glenn 2 balls they would have an equal number...now if glenn gives 2 balls to jason..then it is given that x-4=2(x+4)...hence value of x=12..jason is having initially x+2 balls..so answer is 14...

G+2= J 2;
2(G 2)=J+2;
G J = 4
2G + J = 6
(1) (2) G = 10=>G=10, J=14.
Check: If Glenn gave 2 balls to Jason, Glenn will have 8 balls, then the Jason 16 balls.
