I think the answer is option c. 6
becoz according to formula 2^m>c.
Where m= mice and c= can.
so 2^6=64
64 is exact greater to 45.. so answer will be 6..

6...Short trick:-convert 45 into binary digit.Count it's digit..

44 mice are required...!!!!!
question is why 44 mice..
here is the solution..
each mice requires 24 hrs for the test and man has 24 hours to carry the test..
thus he will take 44 mice and deploy them on each can out of 44 can. if 44 doesnt die,the 45th will conatain poison and if 1 dies then that particular can had killer poison
