let in 1975 the population is 100
then as it decrease from 1970-1975 10% so in 1975 it will be 90 (100-(100*10/100))
again it decrease 10% so in 1980 it will be 81 (90-(90*10/100))
again 10% decrement so in 1985 it will be 72.9 (81-(81*10/100))
so in 1980 the population is 72.9~73
and 3/4 of 1970' popu. 100*3/4= 75
