area of the hall is 27x24....we have fill with square of side 0.5..area of each square is (0.5)^2...let it takes "p" no of square tiles...
so...27x24=(0.5)^2 x p
p=4x27x24....this is no of squares and cost of each square is Rs 8...so total
cost is 4x27x24x8=20736...

length*breadth=27*24=648
area of sq=side*side
0.5*0.5=0.25
=648*8=5184 (ans)
