area of the plot=110m*65m=7150sq.m
area of plot excluding gravel=105m*60m=6300sq.m
area of gravel =7150sq.m-6300sq.m =850sq.m
cost of building it = 850sq.m*80
= 68000p
in Rs =68000/100=Rs680

gravelling is done 2.5m wide on all the sides of the rectangular plot. If we want to find the area excluding gravelled part the dimensions of the rectangle with ungravelled part would be length = (110-(2.5+2.5))= 105 [because if you consider any length or breadth of plot, we excluded gravelled part that was present at every side of the plot and it had the width = 2.5m on evry side and it comes twice for either length or breadth ].similarly, bredth = (65-(2.5+2.5))=60
area of the plot=110m*65m=7150sq.m
area of plot excluding gravel=105m*60m=6300sq.m
area of gravel =7150sq.m-6300sq.m =850sq.m
cost of gravelling the path= 850sq.m*80 = 68000p =68000/100=Rs680

area excluding the gravel=105*60=6300
area of gravel=850
cost=850*80=6800p=Rs680

60 comes from 65-(2.5+2.5)
