w's 1 hours production=n/5
(w+v)'s 1 hours production=n/2
v's 1 hours production
n/5+V=n/2
v's 1 hours production=n/2-n/5
=3n/10
n/(10/3)
ans=10/3 hours

We have W producing n units in 5 hours.

Hence, number of units produced by W in 2 hours = 2n/5

Workers V and W produce n units in 2 hours.

Hence number of units produced by V alone in 2 hours = n – 2n/5

= 3n/5

Since number of units produced by V in 2 hours = 3n/5

Hence number of units produced by V in 2 hours = 3n/5 × ½ = 3n/10

Hence, time taken by V to produce V units = 10/3 hours

= 3 hours 20 min.
