* but the probability of a child going to zoo is=
here one child should be going to zoo.
so,remaining two memebers selectted from remaining 7 children.
=1*(7C2) / 8C3.
= 3/8

firstly the man need to select 3 children out of 8....which is done by 8C3..
now we only need to multiply prob. of taking one child and that is 1/8

so total is...(8c3)*(1/8)

Probabality has to be 3/8, because his father picks 3 out of 8 to go to the zoo. You have a chance of 3 out of 8 to be in that group.
