let four consecutive no.s be X,x+1,x+2,x+3
then avg. is given as 49.5 therefore...equation will become..
(x+X+1+x+2+x+3)/4 =49.5
4x+6=198
x=48
hence b,d will be49 and 51..hence..b*d=49*51=2499

(A+B+C+D)/4 is 49.5. Therefore, A+B+C+D=198
Let the first consecutive number be x.
therefore the x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)=198
=> 4x+6=198
=> x=48
therefore, the consecutive numbers are
48,49,50,51.
Q. product of B&D
=> 49*51=2499.
answer is option(1).

sum of a,b,c,d=198(~200).if we divide 200 in 4 equal parts then 50,50,so on...so mid term might be 50.If try to add 48+49+50+51=198.then 49*51=2499

1. 2499 consider 4 numbers are x,2x,3x and 4x.
(x+2x+3x+4x)/4=49.5

let x,(x+1),(x+2)and(x+3)are the four cosecutive numbers.
i.e A=x, B=(x+1), C=(x+2), D=(x+3).
x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)=198
4x+6=198
4x=192
x=192/4=48
x=48
i.e A=48,B=49,C=50,D=51
now B*D=49*51=2499
Option 1 is Right.

4x+6=198
4x=192

b*d=49*51=2499

So, its simple... last 2 nos are 50 & 51.

let take three consecutive numbers x+2,x+4,x+6,x+8
the avg of 4 nos is=49.5
(x+2)+(x+4)+(x+6)+(x+8)/4=49.5
4x+20/4=49.5
4x+20=49.5*4
4x+20=198
4x=198-20
4x=178=>x=178/4=>44.5
=>x=44.5=>A=x+2=>44.5+2=46.5
B=x+4=>44.5+4=48.5
C=x+6=>44.5+6=50.5
D=x+8=>44.5+8=52.5
B*D=48.5*52.5=2546.25

let x be the first number then , next three numbers will be x+1,x+2 and x+3
given, (x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3))/4=49.5
on solving,
x=48 thus B=49 and D=51
B*D=2499

then we get x= 48 means
the no.s are
48, 49, 50 and 51
then
