20,000 only if logically thinking. Aft 20,000km, how the car can travel on the extra tyre alon??

maximum distance (in km) that the car can travel using the five tyres = 5*20000/4= 25000 kms

let consider 5 tyres are a,b,c,d,e
each tyre works for 20000km and a car uses 4 tyres at a time

tyre 0-5000km 5001-10000km 10001-15000km 15001-20000km 20000-25000km
a 5000 5000 5000 5000 0
b 5000 5000 5000 0 5000
c 5000 5000 0 5000 5000
d 5000 0 5000 5000 5000
e 0 5000 5000 5000 5000

from the above table we conclude that each tyre worked for 20000km and total distance traveled by the car is 25000km
