ans (d) coz total student passed is 2+6+18+40 = 66
and total students 10+20+30+40= 100
so pass percentage of school 66%.

total passed=66
%age=66/total students(=100)*100=66%

20% of students passed out of 10 students of first class i.e "2" students.
like that 30% of 20 students means "6" students.
60% of 30 students means "18" members.
100% of 40 students means "40" members.
so total students passed = 2+6+18+40 = 66
the total students in four classes = 100.
there fore average % of students passed = (66/100)*100% = 66%.

30% of 20=6
60% of 30=18
100% of 40=40
so, total pass students = 2+6+18+40=66
total no. of students in the school considering all the four classes = 100
this means 66 out of 100 have passed .....so passs percentage is 66 per 100 ....that is ....." 66% "

ans : d, total students = 10+20+30+40 =100
total passed students = 0.2(10)+20(0.3)+30(0.6)+40(1) = 66
total pass percentage = (66/100)*100 = 66%
