LET N(A) BE THE PEOPLE WHO SPEAK LATIN AND LET N(B) BE THE PEOPLE WHO SPEAK FRENCH
N(A^B) OR MEANS TO SAY A INTERSECTION B
THEN BY FORMULA
N(A UNION B)=N(A)+N(B)-N(A^B)+6
25=13+15-X+6
X= 28+6-25
X=9
9 PEOPLE SPEAK BOTH...

let no.of persons who speeks booth latin and french = x
so, no.of persons who speeks only latin = 13-x
no.of persons who speeks only french= 15-x
no.of persons who speeks dont speek any lag = 6
therefore (13-x)+(15-x)+x+6=25
34-x=25
x=9;

In a group of 25, 13 can speak Latin, 15 can speak French, and 6 don't speak either. So there are 19 persons, who can speak in any one language or both languages . So persons speaking both languages = 13+15-19= 9 .

n(AUB)=25-6=19(people who speak any language
people who speak both=13+15-19=9

given: n(AUBUC) = 25
n(A)=13; n(B)=15; n(C)=6
therefore no.of person who speak both latin and french are
25 = 13+15+6-x
therefore x=9.
