A: equation 1990x - 173y = 11 is satisfied by x=22 and y= 253
Its a bit tricky one.
At x=2 and y= 23; 1990x - 173y =1
At x=4 and y= 46; 1990x - 173y =2
At x=6 and y=69; 1990x - 173y =3
At x=8 and y=92; 1990x - 173y =4
At x=10 and y=115; 1990x - 173y =5
Thus its a series...
So, Procedding in the same way....
At x=22 and y=253; 1990x - 173y =11

B: there exists only one prime number p such that (17p+1) is a perfect square.
At p=19
17*19+1=324=18^2

A: equation 1990x - 173y = 11 is satisfied by x=22 and y= 253

B: there exists only one prime number p such that (17p+1) is a perfect square.
17*15+1=256=16^2
