not fail in hindi =64%
not fail in both =30 %(49+36-15)
pass in english only=51-30=21
21/100*x=630
x=3000

draw a venn diagram for d given data
% who failed in english is 49
% who failed in hindi is 36
% who failed in both is 15%
so by this venn diagram,
% who failed in only english is (49-15)%=34%
% who failed in only hindi is (36-15)%=21%
clearly the % who failed in hindi is the % who passed in only english
so the % passed in only english is 21%
21% of x=630
x=3000

Fail in english is 49%
Fail in Hindi is 36%
Fail in both is 15%
If we go for the venn diagram, it clearly shows that fail in Hindi only are the students who passed in English and if 36% is 630 then 100% is 1750

Fail in eng= 49 %
pass in eng= 51%
fail in hindi =36%
pass in hin = 64%
51 + 64= 115
so 15 % passed in both
So in only eng( 51-15)%= 36% passed
Which is 630 so the 100% is 630*100/36=1750
1750 is total appeared

total candidates failed in english are 64%
total candidates passed in english alone are 630 which is 100-64 = 36%
36% ---- 630
100%----1750
total candidates appeared in exam are 1750

let the no of student is x.
fail in hindi=36%
fail in english=49%
only fail in english=49-15=34%
fail in english student=34% of x=630
here we get the value of x by solving this

faild in english 49%
faild in both 15%
total faild students 36+49-15=70%
students faild in hindi only: 36-15= 21%
total students passed=100-70=30%
total students passd in english only= total students passed in hindi only+total students passed in both: 30+21=51%
let total students appeared be x
51x/100=630
x=63000/51
x=1260 appx

total fail in english is (49+15)%=64
thus 36 students passed in english if 100 students appeared for the exam
so 630 will pass if 1750 students appears(unitary method)
