(2x+9)^2 / (x+3) = {2(x+3)+3}^2 / (x+3) = 4(x+3) + 12 + 9/(x+3)

for 9/(x+3) to be integer

x = -12,-6,-4,-2,0,6

Sorry.. -2,-6 will also give int value so the ans will be option b) 4.. not option a..

(2X+9)2/(X+3)=(2X+9)*[(2X+9)/(X+3)]=1*2
Part 1 will be integer for every integral value of X,
Part II (2X+6+3)/(X+3)=[(2X+6)/(X+3)]+[3/(X+3)]=2+[3/(X+3)]
so 3/(X+3) would be an integer for X value 0 and -6.
So 2 values

chotu scored 80% marks on an average in 5 subjects his individual marks lies between 50 to 100.. out of 100.all terms have 5 subjects. and all subjects have wqual weightage .he does not get tge same marks in any 2 subjects across terms if he scored 60 marks in 1 subject .he will not get 60 marks fie the same sybject .how many max no of term cab his average marks remains exactly 80%

(2x+9)^2 can be written as ((4x+24)+9/(x+3))
Now the first part will always give an int value, and the second part(9/(x+3)) will give int value for 0,+6 only... So the option is a)2..
