Let ratio of radius of cylinder to cone=...r1/r2=1/2
Volume of cylinder=π*r1^2*h
Volume of cone=π*r2^2*h/3
Ratio of volumes=3*(r1/r2)^2= 3/4

let, the radius of the cylinder is r
the radius of the cone is 2r
the volume of the cylinder is n(pi)r^2 h
the volume of the cone is 1/3 n(pi)r^2 h & according to the condition, volume will be 1/3 n(pi)(2r)^2
as the heights are equal so,
[n(pi)r^2 h] / [1/3 n(pi)(2r)^2 h]= 3:4

Let, Radius of the Cylinder = r1
Radius of the Cone = r2
then, r1/r2=1/2
Volume of cylinder=π*r1^2*h
Volume of cone=13[π*r2^2*h]
RATIO BETWEEN VOLUME:
[π*r1^2*h]
---------------
[13[π*r2^2*h]]
cancel the similars and get,
3[r1/r2]^2
3[1/2]^2
3[1/4]=3/4........
