Water int the tank is 80% of rain water so 80% =5000
So 100% means total water on the roof collected so 100%= (5000/80)*!00 =6250 litr
now volume = Are of roof * hieght
6250=X*.25(mm) Where X is the Area of roof
[ as we know 1 m=1000 mm so .25mm is=0.00025 m]
so volume
6250=X*0.00025
=> X=25000000

1 litre= 10^6 cubic mm
let area be x,then
25*X=5000*10^6
x=(2*10^8) mm^2
which is 80%of the total area
thus total area = 2.5*10^8

area=5000/25 = 200mm^2

80% of 5000 = 4000 lt
4000 lt = 4 klt
.25mm = 25 /100000 m
volume= area * height
4 = area * 25/100000
arae = 16000 m^2
