Area of sq=6*6=36
Area of rect=l*2.5
Then 36=l*2.5
L=36/2.5
=14.4

area of rectangle is l*b=2.5*x
36=2.5*x
x=36*10/25=14.4

=>36=area of rectangle
=>36=2.5*x
=> x=36/2.4
=>x=14.4cm

the area of the square will be side^2, so 6^2=36 . this value is equal the area of rectangle therefore, 36=2*a*b-----eq-I, where a is the length and b is the breadth of the rectangle. putting the value of b in the eq-I we get a=7.2cm. therefore the lenth of rectangle is 7.2cm

area of rectangle=l*b
36=l*2.5
l=36/2.5
l=14.4
