theta degree=11/2m-30h //formuae
=11/2(45)-30(3)
=247.5-90
=157.5 or 157 1/2 degree

In 12 hrs angle made by hour hand is 360 degree.
In 60 minutes angle traced by minutes hand is 360 degree.
Now for hour hand-In 1 hours angle will be=360/12=30 degree..............for 3:45 minutes means (3+3/4)=15/4 hrs..........Total angle moved in 15/4 hours will be=15/4*30=225/2 degree

Now for same as minutes hand,In 1 minutes=360/60=6 degree.................No in 45 minutes=6*45=270 degree
Difference between two hands in angle is=270-225/2=157.5 Ans

157.5 Ans

theta=30H-11/2min
=30*3-11/2(45)
=157.5
