ans is 38 min
because, before first period no need to leave the room and enter the room.
so,for 5 periods 4 times 5 minutes break will be provided. that is 20 mins.
10 A.M-1:30 P.M=210mins
210-20=190
therefore 190/5=38 mins.

four 5 minutes breaks are needed so 4*5=20min
total duration is 210 minutes
duration left : 210-20=190
duration of each period: 190/5 =38.

The time difference between 10am to 1.30 pm is 3hr 30mns
5 periods and 5 minutes break for each period that means for 5 periods 4 breaks are there so 4*5=20mns
substract 20mns from 3hrs 30mns then u will get 3hrs 10 mins
3hrs 10 mns means 190mns
therefore 190/5=38
answer is a.

10am to 1.30am total hrs are 3hrs.30min
5min provided to leave & enter the room 5*5=25min, 3hrs.30min-25min=3hrs5min
therfore 3hrs 5min/5periods====== each period duration is 61min.
ans=61min
