Answer is SATURDAY

1992 is a leap year because it is divisible of 4
A leap year consists of 366 days i.e, 52 weeks + 2odd days
from 1st jan to 24th oct we have 297 days
and 366 -297 =69 days
69 days i.e, 9 weeks+6 odd days 6 odd days means SATURDAY
As we know 0 odd days is sun, 1 odd day is mon, 2=tue, 3=wed,4=th,5=fri, 6 odd days is SATURDAY

no. off odd days in 1600 years=0
no. off odd days in 300 years=1
91 years= 22*2+69*1
=1 odd day
1991 years have=0+1+1=2 odd days

jan 1 1992 to october has =298 /7
remainder=4 so 4 odd days
total no of odd days=2+4=6
6 odd days is SATURDAY
