Train A started 45 min ago,by the time train B started,
It means Distance covered by the Train A in 45 min is 48*45/60=36km covered,
now remaining distance=196km
since they are moving towards each other relative speed=48+50=98kmph
and time=196/98=2hrs
In 2hrs trainAcovered 96km distance and 36 km already covered
=>96=36=132km
Hence,132 km from station A, trains meet eachother.

Distance between A and B =232
Distance covered by A and B is,
(48*x)+(50*(x-(45/60)))=232
Therefore, x=11/4
so,distance covered by A is,
48*x=48*(11/4)=132km

So,ans:c

A's speed-48km/hr.
B's speed-50km/hr.
A's start 45 min before of B's, so distance covered by A=> 48=x/(3/4) (45 min in rational).
x=36KM.
232-36=>196=(48+50)*t, =>196/98=t, =>t=2.
A's speed 48*t=distance, =>96+36(previous covered), =>132KM.

They will meet when sum of the distance covered by them is 232 km

suppose they meet after t hr of departure time at A

then travelling time of B will be t-3/4 hrs

DA=48t

DB=50(t-3/4)

DA +DB= 48t + 50(t-3/4)=232

solving we get t=11/4 hrs

distance from A= 48x11/4=132 km

suppose they will meet each other after t hrs at a
time taken by b to reach hat distance is t-34
da+db=48t+50(t-34)
t=114 therefore 48(114)=132
they will meet after 132 kms from a

108km ; 232-(3/4 *48) = 232-36 =196; 196/(48+50)= 2hrs ; 36+(2*48)=108
