ACCESS => CEEGUU
POINTFF => HHKPQRV
LIMERICK => EGKKMNOT
LAMINATE => CCGKNOPV
AMRST ==> COTUV

Every letter of the word is added by 2 then we get the code word in which the letters are jumbled except in the first word ACCESS which is to confused u.

So the correct answer is option C) SMART

The above codes are decoded as.. arranging the alphabets from A and then add+2
1. A C C E S S

these codes are already arranged in alphaetical order so it doesnt matter to reaarrange in alphabetical order. simply add + 2 to them.

A +2=C
C+2=E
C+2=E
E+2=G
S+2=U
S+2=U

SIMILARLY,
2.PONTIFF

ARRANGE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

FFINOPT THEN ADD +2

SIMILARLY,
3.LIMERICK
ARRANGE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

Though the question seems too tricky and i can't ensure you of the correctness of my answer. But what I tried is that I am posting here.

As we Know A=1, B=2, C=3........Z=26

A C C E S S ----> C E E G G U
In the above case all the letters are changed as A+2 = C, C+2=E....

P O N T I F F -----> H H K P O R V
In this, the letters are first coverted as
F F I T N O P....
Then see....F+2 = H, K+2 = N.....

L I M E R I C K -----> E G K K M N O T
the confusion comes in this and the later one.
Here, What I did ,
I took E G K K M N O T
and then subtracted 2 from all...
E - 2 = C
G - 2 = E
K - 2 = I
K - 2 = I
M - 2 = K
N - 2 = L
O - 2 = M
T - 2 = R
It means E G K K M N O T ------> C E I I K L M R
If you see above, all these formulated letters are present in L I M E R I C K.

Similarly,
C C G K N O P V -----> A A E I L M N T
All the above letters are present in L A M I N A T E.

Thus, C O T U V will be converted by adding 2 in each.
Therefore we get E Q V W X which is not in the options. hence, none of these

for specific letter constant inc/dec:

SO on
directly for COTUV ---> Decoding start with C-->+2=E, which is not present in options....so none of this

SMART is the answer..
Consider CEEGUU ..If we substract 2 from each letter we get ACCESS.. For example For 'C' If we substract 2 we get 'A'.. Similarly for 'E' we get 'C'
Similarly for COTUV we get AMRST
And if we jumble it ..we get SMART..
Same apllies for 2nd,3rd, and 4th Cases
