football=8/100 * x
cricket=4/5 * x
basketball=10/100 * x
remaining students=20
the sum of all is equal to =x

x[8/100 + 4/5 + 10/100 ] +20 = x
x[8/100 + 4/5 + 10/100 ] = x-20
do lcm and after calculations we get
2x=2000
x=1000 students

this above line means : (4/5)*100= 80% (interested in cricket)
so total 98% students are interested in any type of games & remaining 2% not interested in any games.

Let us assume the total number of students is x .Then 8/100 ie. 0.08x , 4/5x ie. 0.8x , 10/100x ie. 0.1x + 20 students =total number ie. x
0.08x + 0.8x + 0.1x + 20=x
Simplify and get the answer which turns out to be 1000 which is x

lets assume total number of students are x
4/5 of x are interested in cricket
i.e. 80% of x are interested in cricket
remaining 8%are interested in football
and 10% are interested in basketball
so,
100 - 80+10+8=2
only 2% are not interested in any game which is 20 students
so,
2%of x = 20
then x=20*100/2 =1000
ans 1000

Now,

total 8+80+10=98% interested in playing game
so, 2%=not interested

given 2%=20.
so, 100%=20/2*100

solution is:-
total students=x.
8x/100 + 4x/5 + 10x/100 + 20=x

100x-98x=2000
2x=2000

hence, x=1000

students which plays:-
football=8
cricket=80
baskeyball=10
so students who are not interested in any games left are (100-80-10-8) = 2
i.e
20/2=10
