The foot of a ladder is 15m long, is 9m from a house and its top reaches the upper part of a circular window. When the foot is drawn to a distance of 3m away from the house, the top reaches the lower edge of the window.
It means , earlier it reached Root (25^2-9^2)= 12 m height.
now it is reaching up to Root (25^2-12^2)= 9m height.

so dia of circular window = 12-9= 3m
radius = 3/2 mtrs
area of window = Pi*r^2 = (22/7)*(9/4) = 99/14 sq mtrs = 7 1/14 .. option 3
