1st costing is 9.30 and second costing is 10.80 per kg and mean is 10 per kg. So we have to find out ratio of mixing of two quantities? So by applying allegations rule we can solve this
So rs 0.70 is to be added for 1st costing and rs 0.80 is to be subtracted from second costing so that we can achieve mean rs 10. Now the required ratio is second costing difference / first costing difference =0.8/0.7=8/7 or 8:7
