Second was Verbal

I applied for the referral drive of ibm in sept. begining. Though I cleared the eligibility criteria, but many IBM employees are telling me that I wont get the invitation mail for the drive as I have only 64% in my School grades. As IBM though sent out a position opening for above 60%, but still wont be calling 60% graded students. Is this true? Can anybody tell me plz?
