Ans-120
We can deduce that when B travels 185m C 179m travels .
simply by unitary we can find when B will travel 3700m, how much will C cover ..
B C
185m - 179m
3700m - X
X=3700x179/185m =3580m
Finally subtracting this from 3700m we get 120m which is the ans.

when B runs 185m then C runs 179m.... 185-179=6m

i.e. in 185m race B beats C by 6m

therefore in 3700m race B beats C by 6*(3700/185)=120m

A = 200m , B = 185m , c = 179m covers.
A/B = 200/185, A/C = 200/179
For B beat C = B/C = (185/200) X (200/179)
for 3700m its will be = (B/C) X 3700

Find gap no need to calculate all distance when b 185 then 179 so gap is 6
so when 3700 then
(3700/185)*6=120 ans in 30 sec

A:B:C=200:185:179
If B goes 185 unit then C covers only 179
If B goes 3700 unit then C will cover 3580 unit
Hence difference is3700- 3580=120

Difference between B and C is 6m in a race of 200m. so in 3700m ( the 3600m difference is 108m and in 100m difference is 3m). so finally difference in both is 108+3 =111m ANS.

here in 200m race
Va(velocity of A)=(200/t) , Vb=(185/t) , Vc=(179/t)

in 3700m race
time taken by A to travel 3700 is Tx=(3700/Va) = 3700/(200/t) = (37t)/2
distance traveled by B in time Tx is D1 = Tx * Vb = (37t/2) * (185/t) = (37*185)/2
distance traveled by C in time Tx is D2 = Tx * Vc = (37t/2) * (179/t) = (37*179)/2
D1-D2 = [(37*185)/2 - (37*179)/2] = 111

C lagged by 6 meters.
therefore
185*20= 3700... similarly
6*20= 120 meters.
Ans 120.

In 185m race B beat C by 6m
In 1m race B beat C by (6/185)m
so, in 3700m race B beat c , (6/185)*3700 = 120m. so ans will be 120m.

The ratio will be same as b was at 185 when c was at 179. So next te they race, the ratio of distances will ne same as 185:179.
This implies c will run 179*3700/185 meters when b runs 3700 meters.
Thus gives us 3580. Hence c will ne 120 meters behind b.
