Milk in container earlier=(5/6)*36=30 L

Water in container earlier=(1/6)*36=6 L

Now required milk:water ratio=3:2

Suppose we add x L of water in container,then;

30/(6+x)=3/2
60=3(6+x)
60=18+3x
60-18=3x
42=3x
x=42-3=14

solving we get x=14 L

Therefore 15 L of water required to make ratio 3:2

Milk in container earlier=(5/6)*36=30 L

Water in container earlier=(1/6)*36=6 L

Now required milk:water ratio=3:2

Suppose we add x L of water in container,then;

30/(6+x)=3/2
60=3(6+x)
60=18+3x
60-18=3x
42=3x
x=42-3=14

solving we get x=14 L

=> x+6=14+6=20L

=>30:20
=> 3:2

According to ques,
30/6+x=3/2
Solving ,
x = 14
